Already on 27 February, the Holsteinische Courier reported on a special event at our school: the “Vegetable Field Academy” (https://www.gemueseackerdemie.de/gemueseklasse/), which makes it possible to grow vegetables in the classroom at the Mühlenhof School. This takes place in raised beds where the students sow, tend, water, and harvest the vegetables. Through their own hands-on activities, the children learn a wealth of valuable information about individual crops, plant growth, and the equipment needed to care for them.
