Participation campaign at the Mühlenhofschule
Every child has the right to their own opinion and the right to express it. Especially after the "silent weeks" of the pandemic, we want to particularly support these children's rights and give children a voice. To this end, we are responding to the City of Neumünster's call for participation. The city wants to build a new playground in Haart and is asking children up to 12 years old for their opinions. The Mühlenhof School would like to support this project.
After a presentation of the project, the children (separated by cohort) had the opportunity to write down, draw, or have written down their ideas and wishes for a playground in the city center during several breaks. This led to lively discussions and a great deal of anticipation.
The class representatives of the third grades met with Ms. Karger from the Children and Youth Office of the City of Neumünster on Friday, March 5, 2021, to present the children's wishes on behalf of the Mühlenhofschule.
